The chair of the art department at Carthage College personally entrusted me with designing a poster to promote the "2024 Annual Juried Student Art Show" to our student body. This poster needed to be informative, featuring essential details such as dates, contacts, and a QR code, while also capturing the essence of the event itself.
To ensure clarity and coherence, I implemented a detailed grid system as the backbone of my design process to achieve harmony between graphics and text. Additionally, I assembled a vibrant color palette and created artistic imagery to evoke the unique atmosphere and spirit of the art show, thereby engaging viewers on both visual and informative levels.
